Construction Truck Driver
Construction Drivers operate a range of trucks used in the construction industry, such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, lowboy trailers, mixer trucks, and dump trucks. In addition to driving, they also handle various implements, such as fuel hoses and mixer chutes, and secure equipment or commodities by strapping or chaining them down.

Successful graduates of this pre-apprenticeship have the opportunity to be interviewed by the JATC for entry to an apprenticeship.
The 6-week Basic Driver CDL A Course is available through our subsidiary school, CEE (http://www.cee-ak.com/6-Week.html).
Funding grants for the 6-week course may be available through the Department of Labor - Job Center.

Freight Transport Driver
Freight Transport Drivers work locally including LTL freight and local container delivery supplying the state of Alaska 90% of its consumable goods. We supply grocery stores, retails stores and building materials that support Alaska's economy.

Surveyor Assistant, Instruments
Surveyors, also referred to as Technical Engineers, play an essential role in various projects such as utility lines, roads, buildings, mining, and pipelines. They use advanced tools such as hand-held computers, lasers, and satellites to make precise measurements and keep accurate records for legal purposes.

Logistics Technician
Logistic Technicians, also referred to as warehouse employees, are responsible for handling a variety of goods, including hazardous materials. The safe receiving, handling, and shipping of these products are critical aspects of their job.
This program is typically a local hire opportunity for the Fairbanks and Valdez areas for work in conjunction with the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS).
