Construction Truck Driver Apprenticeship

Construction Drivers operate a range of trucks used in the construction industry, such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, lowboy trailers, mixer trucks, and dump trucks. In addition to driving, they also handle various implements, such as fuel hoses and mixer chutes, and secure equipment or commodities by strapping or chaining them down.

WorkKeys

The WorkKeys Assessments are a requirement of the apprenticeship eligibility and application process. We require three tests, Graphic Literacy, Applied Math, and Workplace Documents to be eligible for all of our apprenticeships. These tests can be completed and retaken anytime, not just when an application period is opened. WorkKey scores are considered current for about 6 years and you will not need to retake once completed during that time.

We recommend that you plan ahead and practice with the WorkKeys Curriculum prior to taking the WorkKeys assessment which is strongly encouraged in order to meet the optimum level.
